The second truck of humanitarian aid supplies to Ukraine left the warehouses of Medacta Int. in Rancate last Friday. The cargo arrived yesterday at the government warehouse in Lubliniec (Poland), the first stop on the long and arduous journey to Kiev.
Monika, the driver who already took charge of carrying the first shipment to the destination with her truck, loaded the pallets in our warehouses containing food, water, basic supplies, medical and sanitary material, toys, clothes and much more, and headed for Poland. Its load included a total of no less than 23 pallets of goods, thanks to the cooperation of many benefactors, friends, health agencies, and other charitable organisations close to us. With this second convoy, we were also able to send the last part of the surgical equipment purchased by the Medacta for Life Foundation and destined for Dr. Lysenko of the Feofanya Clinical Hospital.
The cooperation with the Francesca Rava Foundation and Soroptimist Mendrisiotto, especially in the person of Dr. Jolanta Jozefowski, has been invaluable and has allowed us to get there where only together we can give hope and help. A heartfelt thanks to all those who are infusing energy and love into this cause.
