Meeting Point is the second project in close collaboration with ATFA.
Set up in 2022, it’s a service for minors (0-18 years) and adults in problematic family situations, fostering relationships, fragile parenting, mistreatment/abuse, highly conflictual separation/divorce.
The project is designed and created to guarantee and promote visit and relationship rights between the child and the meeting parent, to rebuild interrupted relationships or support the fragile ones.
The Meeting Point has the following characteristics:
- it is a neutral place, free from parental conflicts
- it is a safe place, where minor and reference adult can meet in the presence of an operator who facilitates, accompanies, and re-establishes the affective relationship
- it is a pedagogical-educational place, both to foster parental responsibility and to develop independent relationships
Medacta for Life Foundation has supported the project since its inception and plans further funding for the future.
