Also in 2026, Medacta for Life Foudation chose to support Pro Juventute’s project to help young people obtain their lower secondary school diploma. “Recupero licenza di IV Media” is an important opportunity for young people who, due to complex educational or personal circumstances, have not yet obtained their school-leaving certificate.
This year, 62 young people started the programme – the highest number ever recorded. 49 sat the examinations and 45 obtained their diploma. In addition, 18 young people were supported in their transition towards vocational training and apprenticeships.
But these numbers tell only part of the story. For those who did not reach this milestone this year, the journey does not end here: they will have the opportunity to sit the examinations again in 2027, while continuing to receive support from the various services involved in their care. In most cases, these services continue to monitor their educational and school pathways over time. The growing need for this support is also reflected in the 15 applications that could not be accepted this year due to limited places.
Behind every number is a young person with a different story, but also a new opportunity: to regain confidence, strengthen their skills and, step by step, build their future. We are proud to stand alongside Pro Juventute, with great appreciation for their remarkable vision, commitment and perseverance in pursuing this important goal.
